Hi @NHPIXELSPHOTOGRAPHY which A Series phone did you have before? To be frank the A04s is very much a budget Device with a 2020 processor , display will likely not be that impressive (even if highest standard not needed) and limited memory (3 GB) https://www.techadvisor.com/article/2055370/samsung-galaxy-a04s-review.html
However I can make a few suggestions :
Go to Device care-Memory,can free up Memory for stopping Background Apps-Clean Now. Ensure you have put some apps which are not used regularly onto sleep Mode (if applicable).
check that your software and apps are up to date, if after checks still the same problem an idea to check the Diagnostics via Samsung Members-support-phone Diagnostics to see if anything is highlighted, Samsung Members-Support-Phone Diagnostics. However I suspect this will not report an issue.
Possibly you may need to clear the cache partition, temporary cache files are deleted but your Data is intact. This is particularly advisable after updates. Follow these steps:
1. Turn off the device.
2. May need to Connect To Computer or plug in USB-C Headphones , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
Can also repair Apps from the same Recovery Menu.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
