I bought a new A56 phone. When I touched the screen for scrolling, a black dot in the shape of a front camera started to flash on and off on the top left of the screen. But while trying to figure out how to solve the issue in settings ,it disappeared in 15-30 minutes and never came back. It seemed like a software issue to me. Do you think I should still return the phone?

I found this picture from internet because mine is working properly now.

Do you mean the tiny dot next to the reddish notification on the image?

That icon means there are more notifications, your phone has just ran out of room to show more icons

More notifications than what your phone can display

Don't worry about it to remove notifications everything you get one if you don't like it

Oh that giant thing. Yeah that's probably not supposed to happen. Try a reboot?

It disappeared while I was trying to find solution in settings. It has not come back again. I think it was software issue. It was flashing not like dead pixels. Should I need to return the phone in case it is a hardware issue ?

It won't be a hardware issue. Hardware issue would usually be a solid line from one edge of the phone to the other that never goes away. A black dot that turns off will be software
