Hi
Just got a firmware update fail message on my new A03 which says to take the phone to a Samsung service centre.
Is there a fix or easy resolution fir this please?

Found a fix guys and its worked on my and my fiancée's phones. Set aside 45 minutes to complete this!!!!
Points in CAPITALS are VITAL to follow.
Start with a full battery!!!!
Download Smart Switch on a PC/Laptop AND on your phone via the play store.
Connect your phone via a cable connection (DO NOT choose Wi-Fi)
Start Smart switch on your phone AND PC / Laptop. Smart switch will inform you there is an update, IGNORE THIS!!!
BACK UP YOUR PHONE following on screen prompt's (no hard choices)
The process will take between 5 - 30 Minutes depending on Apps and media.
Once update is done, RESTART smart switch and it will tell you there is an update available in a box named outlook at the bottom of the APP (not the mail program). Click on update and wait for it to do its thing.
It will do a HARD install in the phones android kernel.
DO NOT interrupt this progress or detatch the cable or your phone will probably turn into a paperweight.
Once the PC says complete disconnect your phone and let it boot. Once booted wait 30 seconds before unlocking it. At this point Android is started and you can enjoy your newly updated phone!

Same thing here...my a03 still doesn'twant to update.. we are just talking about or havingit resolved? This is going for a full week and still kills me with notificationsabout updating it...and it doesn't want...

Hi all,
as @Cwazy mentioned you may want to try to update this using Smart Switch.

I have although the same problem - update stucks at 25 % .....
