My wife and I both have Note 20 ultras 500gbs and have noticed that on my wife's phone Google Pay is not functioning any longer. The card details have been erased and a Google message saying that Google Pay does not support beta versions of android 12 comes up. Has anyone had similar experiences of using Google Pay since updating.

That doesn't make sense. Google pay and Samsung pay just do contactless payments. If a retailer doesn't advertise it, but advertises google pay and apple pay, you can use Samsung pay

Hi Forash Thanks for your reply. The problem is not all major UK Banks accept Samsung Pay. This includes Barclays and National Westminster Banks. Neither accept Samsung Pay.

HI Martynak, do you have any idea when official version of the software will be rolled out in the UK for the Note 20 Ultra. As you appear to be in the know I'd be grateful if you could let me know.

Hi @Ricki6,

Unfortunately we still don't know when the official version of the software will be available. It depends on the errors which can be found during the Beta version. Hopefully, all the possible bugs can be quickly and easily found, so everyone can enjoy the One UI 4.0 😉.

OK guys. My Google Pay was not working. So I read the following. Open settings and go to apps. Locate Google Pay and open info. Tap storage. Tap clear data. Select OK. Reboot your phone. Open Google Pay . I did this and it worked. Good luck guys.

Your a star Millerman. Just tried this walktrough, unfortunately mine is still giving me an error message saying that Google Pay does recognise Beta versions.
Thanks again.

Hi Millerman, thanks for coming back to me on this and the link. I will have to wait for the fix as I've tried this step through and it's still not working.

Ricki, you keep saying that no retailers take Samsung Pay in your area when this is just not true as if they take one they take the other.
What you mean is that you are not able to add your Bank, Debit or Credit Card to SamPay right!

Just go though the process of setting up SamPay, try to add your Debit card and when it comes back that it is not supported it should give you the option to add it via a Curve account. Really easy to set-up and you can then add any Bank Card to SamPay.
I did this about four months back as wanted to have a backup should either one fail and so far not had a single issue with it.
In addition to allowing you to add non supported accounts to SamPay, you will also receive a free new physical card with your Curve account and via the app you can assign any one of your cards to work through this card. It's pretty cool really as all you have to do is take this one card out with you and you can select which card any changes will actually come off when you use it.
