Google Pay Not Working Correctly

My wife and I both have Note 20 ultras 500gbs and have noticed that on my wife's phone Google Pay is not functioning any longer. The card details have been erased and a Google message saying that Google Pay does not support beta versions of android 12 comes up. Has anyone had similar experiences of using Google Pay since updating.

Yes, everyone has. It's completely normal on beta software and is expected.

Thanks for this Ribenamoustache. The moral of the story is to be patient and wait for the non beta version of the software to be rolled out.

Google pay has just started working at around 4pm UK time on my Note20 Ultra with the beta version. Perhaps Google has got around to verifing this now. Give it another try.

Following the latest beta update today Google pay has broken again. Guess we'll have to wait for them to catch up again 😪.

Earlier, during the Beta Program, Google Pay app was not functional. However, this time it is possible that the situation will change - currently, some responsible people are trying to make it work also during the Beta.

In the meantime, I recommend you to use the Samsung Pay app 😉. Google Pay app will certainly be working in the official version of the software.

I've had the same issue. I was able to use Google Pay on the Beta, but then I woke up this morning to find it's no longer working. I guess I'll have to take another posters suggestion and use Samsung Pay in the mean time

Hi Martynak, thank you for responding so quickly. The Google Pay app is a major disappointment. However none of my local supermarkets and petrol stations take Samsung Pay in fact hardly any retailers locally that I've asked takes Samsung Pay. So because of this issue with retailers not accepting Samsung Pay this payment method is out of the question. Thanks again for update.

Hi p_man13 thank you for the update. As I've just explained to Martynak no retailers in my area take the Samsung Pay app. So I've no choice other than using Google Pay.
