can't answer incoming calls

Hi All, sorry if this has been on here before. I'm unable to answer incoming calls!

Has anyone else got this issue?

Or a solution please?

Thank you I will try this, I was swiping upwards as that worked on my previous Samsung phone

When the phone rings I tape the green answe phone over and over again but can't pick up and I loose the call

Yes they're visible but by swiping them nothing happens, my sister thinks having the phone cover on is the oroblem

I am not sure what has changed but all of a sudden mine is working again. At least the swipe to answer. I haven’t tried the tap to answer as I don’t want to jinx it but for now it is somewhat back to normal.

I am having exactly the same issue. When a call comes through, the green and red Buttons are there but when I tap either of them, nothing happens. I have restarted the phone but it has made no change

I have had exactly the same problem. When a call comes through to my Samsung phone, both the green and red Buttons to answer or decline appear on the screen. When I tap either of them, nothing happens. I have restarted the phone but it has not resolved the issue.

Restart did not resolve the issue for me. Pressing the green button to accept incoming calls has no effect.

Had an A54 2 weeks and frustrated with same problem. The message on previous page that you have to drag the green button all the way over to the red button to answer a call seems to be the correct  information (well it was for me😁)

Three possibile solutions;

1. you need to drag the Green Answer icon all the way across the phone to the position of the Red Dismiss icon while the phone is still ringing
2. see the post on Page 3 by Abbyshihtzu
3. Turn on the "Assistant Menu" which allows you to just press on the green button (only need one hand to answer calls).  Settings -> Accessibility -> Interaction and dexterity -> Assistant menu = ON
