First and foremost, I want to express my respect and appreciation for the Samsung development team, who are undoubtedly working hard to deliver a stable and polished One UI 7 experience. Ensuring a bug-free update is no easy task, and their dedication to improving the software is commendable.
That being said, the continued delay of One UI 7 raises serious concerns. Reports suggest that the stable release might not arrive until April, which means that Samsung will finally roll out its Android 15-based UI just two months before Google unveils Android 16—expected to be released earlier than usual, in June.
This situation leads to a pressing question: How will Samsung keep users up to date when it’s already falling behind by almost a full Android generation? If One UI 7 is indeed launching so late, will Samsung be able to accelerate its development process for One UI 8? Or will we see history repeat itself, with another late release that leaves Samsung users a step behind in the fast-paced Android ecosystem?
Transparency on Samsung’s long-term software strategy would go a long way in easing these concerns. While stability is crucial, so is keeping up with innovation—especially in a time when AI advancements and OS improvements are coming faster than ever before.
What do you think? Should Samsung rethink its software update strategy to avoid falling behind?

Yeah, it is concerning. If Google keeps going at its rate with updates and flagship phones, it might be worth thinking about going the pixel route. I've been Samsung for soooo long now. I would find it mighty tough to leave still.
