Samsung Fans Left in the Dark: Where is One UI 7?

Samsung fans have been eagerly waiting for the stable release of One UI 7, but Samsung keeps delaying the update with no clear timeline. Many users feel left in the dark, wondering when (or if) their devices will finally receive the long-awaited software upgrade.

This situation raises an important question: Is this how Samsung plans to keep its 7-year software update promise—by slowing down the rollout of major updates? If updates take longer to arrive, does that technically fulfill the commitment while leaving users stuck on outdated versions for extended periods?

What do you think? Is Samsung just facing unexpected delays, or is this a strategy to stretch out its software support promise?

Understanding software development does not mean accepting endless delays without communication. Users deserve transparency, especially when a company promises long-term support. If you know better, please shed light on this matter.

OneUI 7.0 has been a major, ground up change. It was entirely expected to come later. They said as much from the very start. It also makes sense to be releasing new versions with new devices. There was no other way for them to do it.
And yes, software redesigns like this, takes a long time. It'll be irresponsible of them to give a release date, and keep pushing it back while they keep working on it. This isn't a Game developer that hangs on pre orders numbers for their game to be released.

Finally, no. This is not the "new normal" for OneUI development. Major rebuilds like this, happen every few years, tbh, I'm surprised it lasted as long as 6 years before having a major overhaul like this.

Testing, maintenance, regression, and compatibility testing all take time.

Can someone tell me what this bug is and more importantly why as a beta community no one had reported it 🤔

We all understand that delays are annoying but just imagine samsung rolling out the Android 15 one UI 7 early then our phones break because of it thay would have have a law suit against them. Thay have got to get it right haven't thay so I'm willing to wait no matter how long it takes. Yes I can't wait 4 it either common samsung fans bear with them ❤👏 👍

Hello @AndreescuD,

We want to release the stable version as soon as possible, but our priority is ensuring that bugs are fixed, and that the new software is tested to avoid new, sometimes more problematic bugs. I can assure you that the developers are working hard to bring the newest update as fast as possible!

Have a good day!

Sure there were plenty if ways they could have done it! Like honor their promise for one. Why not develop the Os then release it to your existing customers then build a S25? The beta test was on S24. There is not one reason other than S25 sales to keep this from everyone!,even a 99 dollar Galaxy F06 can run it just fine! They are liars!

Just imagine if the put their focus in supplying what they promised instead of working so much about keeping up with Apple? The older flagships should have gotten thus OS before S25 development even started.
