Anybody else seeing an error message saying that GPay doesn't meet security standards since the update?

No longer able to use contactless payments as a result.

It seems the issue is widely known since yesterday. It is also reported on another thread: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/discussion/google-pay-not-working-december-2021-no-beta/td-p/443...

Hope Samsung will roll out a fix asap.

Got 2 updates from GPay yesterday and today respectively. Still didn't work for me. I have temporarily reverted to Samsung Pay which is less convenient.

It seems it resolved itself yesterday. No Samsung update whatsoever.

Happens on a friend's А52.

Fix steps:
Settings > Apps > Google Play Services
Three dots on top-left > Uninstall updates
Reboot phone
Must re-add cards in Google Pay as contacless payments

Optional:
Settings > Apps > Google Play Services
App details in store > Update (to latest version of Google Play services)

Some Google apps may require permissions re-approvement of google account usage.
