Everyone understands what they were trying to do, however, if you want consistency also gives us options.
How is it not saving space? My household is all Apple and once they run out of space, the first thing that is done is emptying the trash. The same would apply here. Photos and videos cannot exist in a void once "deleted".

My phone updated 2 weeks ago to Android 14 and One UI 6.0. I just realized today and had to Google search for this that the Delete now toggle option is GONE!! What are you thinking SAMSUNG???? Rollout an update and put the delete toggle option BACK!!!! If I wanted a worthless trash can for everything, I would be using Apple!

When will the disable recycle bin option be added back?

Definitely need this option back to disable recycle bin. Requiring it mandatorily is a step backwards and when working with large video files does result in our of space errors where they would not yave occurred due to elected immediate deletion.

I feel like in some way taking this away from us is an option for them to possibly be invasive. As when an average user deletes an item typically they will think it's gone, however its not. Google photos does the same thing. Regardless, I also would like to see this option restored.

Yes, please restore the option to bypass the trashbin.
I was wondering why my phone still showed nearly full after I deleted so many videos. They were still there in the trash bin. I delete on purpose, deleting shouldn't forcibly be a multistep process.

Please add it back. It's always good to give us option

The point I don’t get: Samsung is asking for feedback, is getting dozens of complains and suggestions, but no reply. No “Thank you”, no “We will put this on our list”, Zero communication…
I asked for this feature 2 months ago in the “Members App”. No reply at all…

Because it's my phone and I don't want to use the recycle bin. What's wrong with that?
