This doesn't work.

It's a basic feature that can enhance your productivity, yet Samsung decided to remove it. Not sure what's actually on their mind

It's an extra step and it sucks. I want to have the option back to delete permanently first, not go to trash, then have to go to trash and empty from there! BRING BACK THE OPTION TO DELETE IMMEDIATELY!

The point is, we used to be able to disable the trash, now you can't. It goes to trash, then you have to delete it. It's annoying and extra steps. We just want it gone, no need for a trash bin.

So now we have to empty the trash every time? Thanks for making our phone experience even less pleasant. This is not something for smileys. This was an obvious mistake and the feature should be back within the next update. This is incredibly annoying. Anna.

Hi,
I'm neurodivergent with adhd and autism and I find this deleted option to toggle recycle bin off very unsettling. I do not want to switch gallery apps, I hate change and this change is arbitrary and not good and you should return the option to hide it.

Taking away total user control over their own files should be illegal once you bough and paid for the device!! If I want to delete a file, it means I WANT TO DELETE IT, not store it in your freaking bin. Take your bin and shove it somewhere!

I swear on everything holy that I'm switching to iPhone this year because you ***** disabled the recycling bin. I'm sick and tired of you guys thinking for us. I paid over $1,000 for my phone, and I should not have to worry about other apps using the data that I've deleted or having to do double work to delete sensitive info. I'm tired of the *****, and you lost another loyal customer over this.

Hey Samsung, please get rid of the Recycle Bin completely, if you are unable to make it optional.

I've used Samsung since the Samsung Galaxy S1!! And yet, I've never had so many problems with the company and their decisions until 2020 onwards.
Needless to say, I won't be going with Samsung next, and will be looking at other developers like Xiaomi, Huawei and maybe even iPhone, and I hate Apple, but I'm fed up of an inconsistent, backwards platform. Android is bloated beyond belief, Samsung and Google have no idea what they're doing.
