One UI 6.
Gallery
Option to disable recycle bin is no longer present. This means that photos that are "deleted" to free up space remain and actually still take up space for another 30 days.

The option to disable the bin needs to be restored. I do not want deleted items stored in bin for 30 days I want them deleted.

I have had the feeling for quite some time now that customer feedback forums from asamsung, and Google are just mousewheels to give us a place to vent. I don't remember any positive outcome coming from such requests. Even in longer threads like this. I hate the forced  feature of deciding for myself how I want to handle photo deletion especially when other forms of data deletion can opt out from recycle bin usage. This option used to be there.

Dev's dislike people, and Engineer people have no place in deciding usability.

Guys, Lets make it clear, WE ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE, We are not prophits, You should take in consideration that I might receive a PORN picture and want to delete it permanently. You had the options? when you try to make something good, dont learn from Microsoft, They had windows 7 which was fine, And added a lot of unnecessary popups and a new control panel to replace an amazing old one. And you! you had the option to disable the Recycle bin?!?  Which honest programmer thought that we all behave as good as him?

Why would this option even be taken away. It's ridiculous. People go to Android options because they don't want to be constrained by Apple's "one way or the highway" mentality. Yet you still think taking the option away from the user is a good idea? Great example of a terrible UX choice.

100% agree

Why is Samsung looking at the inferior products like iPad and thinking "hmm, how can I be more like this?"

Make Recycling Bin optional.

Do not. iPad is toy. Galaxy flagships are tools.
