Samsung Update not working With Windows 11 V23H2

Samsung Update has stopped working correctly and seems to be incompatible with Windows 11 v23H2. Does anyone have it working ok at this version and/or has anyone had a similar experience and have they resolved it?

Mine pops-up the first attached screen shot below when started (which is pretty useless) and when you ok it, it produces the second screen shot which only allows you to enter your model number, but the available Windows o/s drop-down menu stops at Windows 11 V22H2.

My laptop has been on W11 for at least a couple of years with no issues and Samsung Update was working fine until recently. Unfortunately I've been ill for several weeks so haven't used the laptop for several weeks and found this issue when I started using it again when I went to check something so not exactly sure when it stopped working, but sometime since July.

Samsung online support have been no help whatsoever and only want me to try an out of box reset, which I'm not prepared to go through at this time.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Samsung Update app but not made any difference and checked for Windows updates, of which there were none.

Also tried pressing F2 on startup followed by F9 on advice of helpdesk, which fixed my original issue which was missing driver for the fingerprint sensor (which is a different but recurrent issue)

Any suggestions short of out of box restore?

That's why I did a factory reset, there were a few annoying things that didn't work.

Everything is working great now.

I did a restore to the previous version, not a factory reset as didn't want to lose data etc. I did it because of another issue of looping "update is underway" message and galaxy buds failing to connect despite the driver install and restart of various services that didn't work. The latest cumulative update of 24H2 seems to or coincidentally fived the buds and looping issues, but the device car still not working. May be it's Samsung specific issue with 24H2, who knows. I'll factory reset it when required. I don't really need the Device Care app as I get the driver updates directly from the Intel app.

The one thing that still doesn't work for me is the SD card reader, but that's been an issue since day one.

You can remove it in device manager, it reinstalls and works once. Then stops working.

I have a Book4 Edge now, and I think the updates are all managed from the store. So the issue has gone away for me.
