Samsung T7 1TB

Hey, I've got a T7 SSD that I just acquired. Figured it's nice for a phone backup. 

Only speed seems very slow!! 

My phone backup would be about 280gb mind you but I was expecting it to be quicker for some reason. SSD is exFat. Any help for a novice with SSD would be fab thanks

I have the same problem on Windows, with several Samsung T7 units of 2 and 4 TB, bought at different times, from different stores. Reading speed is ok around  300-400 MB/s, but Writing speed is ONLY 2 (two) Mb/s !!!!!!!!!!!

I called Samsung Tech support, it goes to Memory department, and they say that there is NO solution !! They told me "reformat the drive". My drives are only 70% full, they have never been abused, the units are less than 1 year old, very little use, I just used them for backups. This is a terrible product, I bought Samsung trusting the brand, it turned out to be a complete disaster !!!.
