Hi,
I’m having trouble installing the driver for my Samsung printer. It was working before, but now I get an error like "Can't create output file" during installation. I’ve tried reinstalling, restarting, downloading drivers again, and running as admin nothing works. The printer only shows up as a scanner now.
I’m on Windows 10 64-bit, using USB connection.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Here is the samung Printer support page: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/hp-support/ but it just sends to you HP pages now who does Samsungs printer support: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/products/printers/samsung-printers
Here is the link for Samsungs printer drivers/software: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05578283
Just posted those here for you in case you needed them, if Johns solution doesn't fix the problem, I will try and see if I can find another solution to fix it.

Ugh, that's the worst! "Can't create output file" often means a permissions mess or something blocking the install.
Try these:
- Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall.
- Deep clean old drivers: Go to "Devices and Printers," remove everything Samsung, then check "Print Server Properties" for old drivers and zap 'em. You might need to boot into Safe Mode for that last bit.
- Different USB port
Hope one of those finally kicks it into gear for ya!
