Samsung Neo G8 (S32BG852NN) Standby/Sleep Mode Issue

Just picked up a Neo G8 monitor yesterday and have had nothing but issues.  It seems to be that the standby/sleep mode activates way too quickly.  When hooked up to a PS5 the monitor goes into standby mode and then comes back on within a few seconds whenever launching a game.  When hooked up to an Xbox Series X, it goes into a standby loop when launching a game making it unplayable.  Have used multiple cables and updated the firmware and the issue persists.

Any solutions?  Or is the solution returning the monitor and going with a different brand?

Try switching off the option for auto source detection or something like that, it might help solve the problem.

Haven't ever had that turned on.  This happens when only having one source ever plugged in.  I've never had more than one HDMI plugged into the monitor.

Do you have auto sleep switched on?

Not sure what you are talking about as this monitor doesn't have autosleep.  If you are refering to the off timer, then no, that is not turned on.  Even with that, the quickest it would shut off would be 10 minutes when in eco mode.

I have this same monitor, and the standby countdown timer is three seconds when it doesn't detect a signal on the selected input.  That's way too fast, and there doesn't appear to be a way to adjust it.  Off Timer and Eco Timer are both turned off.

I’m incredibly frustrated with this issue. Within just 3 seconds, the screen goes blank, and there's no way to adjust it. I've never even seen my BIOS screen because the monitor takes so long to switch on and off repeatedly. Because of this, the monitor and my GPU never sync correctly, and I’m immediately taken to the Windows login screen. This makes it impossible to dual-boot since I can’t blindly select between Linux or Windows. In the next firmware update, please provide an option to change this setting. At the very least, offer a setting for a longer delay before sleep—options like 5 seconds, 30 seconds, or even 1 minute. I'm on the verge of throwing this monitor out of the window due to this infuriating issue.
