Samsung Magician version 8.1 not working/starting on Win 11 (even after fresh installing windows 2 times)

Since version 8.0, the app hasnt started. I cant open it, close it in the task manager or do anything, it just gets stuck. I have a 980 which I paid good money for it and I cant even use the app. I could have gotten a wd black or crucial but decided to give Samsung a chance (big mistake). Contacted them, they said that they cant help me. Hopefully they see this post and maybe upload a new version so that we can use the app in peace.

Same pbm on W11 2024H2 and Magician 8.2. This pbm has been going on for years and Samsung have done nothing.

I, like many of you, also had this problem and it was driving me crazy. I got mine to work on Windows 11 by doing the following (I have 8.3 of the Samsung Magician software installed):

1) Start --> Run --> services.msc; Find Samsung Magician and change it to manual instead of automatic (kill the service if it is currently running)

2) Open PowerShell as administrator and run the following (thanks to others in this forum for the tip): start "C:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung\Samsung Magician\SamsungMagician.exe" --no-sandbox

That's it. The combination of the service being in the right mode and the right command opened it right up. I hope this helps others. Agree that this software should be better though.
