Is there a fix for this? Seems kinda stupid having to force power off and restart the PC to get the monitor to see the PC again.
Turned off the option to turn off the monitor for now in power settings, but it's OLED so ideally I want it to turn off after 15 minutes of no activity.

Download the latest firmware and load it to a usb drive. Manually install the firmware and it should resolve most issues. It did for me. The auto update doesn't work correctly.

If the monitor auto updated to latest firmware, manual install via USB is no longer possible.

Auto updates doesn't work. I'm pretty sure that you still didn't receive the latest update. Go to samsung website and download latest version and compare your monitor current version to samsung website version.
