Reseting HDD password on Samsung 970 Evo

Hello,

I set an HDD password though BIOS on my Samsung 970 Evo Plus, then after some time decided to move it to a new computer. Now the new machine refuses to recognize the disk and asks for a password each time it boots and the original password doesn't work when I type it in (I am sure it's correct since I used it daily previously).

So the question is, how can I reset the HDD password? I don't need the data, I just want to reset/remove the password and get an usable drive. BIOS won't let me since it asks for the old password.
Plugging the drive into the old pc is not an option anymore unfortunately.

Not something I have come across before but things I would try 1 reset the bios 2 run a trim command last resort put drive in an enclosure download samsung drive software and see if there is a method of refreshing or re installing the drive firmware or if your lucky and option to set/reset password? It depends where the password is stored, I assumed it was kept in the computer bios I.e switch password on/off
