I am currently looking for an ultrawide monitor and came across the 34" Odyssey OLED G8 (Model: S34BG850SU). Unfortunately, I was unable to find all the relevant information I need, so I have the following questions/concerns:
I couldn’t find any information regarding a Picture-by-Picture (PbP) function or similar features. I would like to know if the monitor can display two different images/sources simultaneously, and I have two specific scenarios in mind:
- Displaying two different sources. For example, a Windows 11 laptop via USB-C and a PlayStation 5 console via Micro HDMI.
- Displaying two desktops instead of a single wide desktop. Specifically, I would like to know if it’s possible to split the monitor’s screen when connecting my Windows 11 laptop, so that I have two separate desktops rather than a single extended desktop. (Additionally, I would like to know if this would work with just one cable or if two cables would need to be connected.)
Furthermore, I am interested in whether it’s possible to adjust the size of the sources, so that the two sources do not occupy half of the monitor’s width each, but for example, one source could be displayed in 16:9 and the other would take up the remaining space.
Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!
