I just bought this monitor today and its stressing me out.

I've connected my ps5 to this monitor and enabled vrr and 120hz in the ps5 settings. I'm playing spiderman miles morales in fidelity mode (30fps mode) but I've enabled 120hz displayed mode (which should bump fps upto 40fps).

The monitor does not like this. Anytime 120hz mode is on, the screen goes black every few minutes, as if the hdmi connection has been lost.

The main reason I bought this monitor was for the hdmi 2.1 port. But it's not allowing me to enjoy 120hz mode. Even the fps counter keeps glitches in this mode. It keeps flashing between 85hz & 120hz. Even though it should be 40fps or less. How can I stop the flickering?

This link does not have any update file in it. All of them are manuals. Are you sure the update file that you installed by usb was in this link?

Hello Mike

Same problem here! I have the latest firmware, Version 1444, but I still get these black screens when VRR is on. When I want to download the firmware to put it on my USB Stick, it opens a Powerpoint Presentation, wtf? Samsung Support told me, that the problem comes from Sony or their VRR. I should check if they have an update available but I honestly don't think that Sony is the problem here...

Does it still work for you or did the black screens come back?
