Hi,
It's been 3 or 4 months since my notebook RF511 model started to turn off when plugged in the power outlet. I've already changed the battery, bought a new charger, ran tests over possible heating problems (using HW Monitor), but I didn't find a clue.
What could be the reason of this problem? It's something really annoying, 'cause when I'm working and the battery is about to die, i have to turn off the computer, wait for it to charge completely and, then, I can get back to work.
Thanks in advance.

hello
try the BIOS reset:
if persists,
backup your files and do the factory reset
if still persists,
contact Samsung Support for repair options

Hi strawberry cake,
Thanks for your answer.
I tried the BIOS reset, but it didn't solve my problem. The factory reset is not working on my computer, I guess the partition that had the original Windows was erased when I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
I'm trying another options before taking the notebook to a Samsung assistance. One thing I noticed is that the computer does not turn off when I'm in the BIOS menu sreen, no matter how long I stay there. Could this problem be related to my SO?
