I have a N110 Notebook. When I turn it on it has a blank screen. I have tried pressing various keys whilst turning it on but no luck. Any help appreciated.

@podp55: For clarity, when you press the power button, does it light up to indicate that it has powered on successfully? Furthermore, do you have the Notebook connected to a power supply? If you press F4 repeatedly, immediately after pressing the Power button, are you able to enter Recovery Mode?

Hi, I have tried turning the notebook on and pressing F4 several times with the power cable attached.

 
There is a blue light and a green light, the HDD light comes on briefly. 
 
I am beginning to wonder if there is a problem with the screen. 
 
I haven't used this device for quite a while but wanted to see if it was usable. 
 
I took the ram module out and reinstalled it just in case that made a difference. 
 
Any advice is gratefully received.
