My Samsung T5 500G Portable SSD Drive Will Not Eject

I use the T5 to back up my desktop data.

I use Windows 10 Pro.

When completed, I select "Eject" from the icon in my taskbar.

I get a message "the device is currently in use"

I usually attempt to dismount a few times when I encounter this. I figure it's the indexing process that keeps the drive busy. You can also leave for a little while and try again.

In that case turn PC off, remove HDD, then reboot. I get this occasionally.
