I have the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360, and for no apparent reason, my fingerprint scanner driver disappeared. I have restarted my computer multiple times and even tried doing a factory reset through Device Care, but nothing helped.
I have been using the fingerprint scanner since I bought the computer six months ago, and I don't understand why it stopped working.
Please help.

If it's Windows it should find the missing drivers on computer startup, as long as it's original to the machine
Chromebook is another story, which would most probably require a firmware update, which might be manual updating.

Same thing happened to me last week. I had to go into Device Manager, uninstall any “Biometric Devices” if they were there, then run Windows Update and Samsung Update to reinstall the driver. After a restart, the fingerprint scanner showed up again. Worth a shot!
