ISSUES WITH SAMSUNG RV520 LAPTOP

I have a problem when I switch my samsung rv520 laptop on. It gets stuck on the first screen on the boot up with a clicking sound....with f2 setup and f4 recovery options in the bottom left hand corner, neither of which do anything when you press them. Anyone can advise what I can do please? Thank you

Most likely a Dead HDD unfortunately if it's a metallic clicking sound once a second. That's not fatal to the laptop but it is to any data stored on it. You can fit a new HDD or SSD instead
