SAMSUNG Galaxy Book3 360 15.6" 2 in 1 Laptop purchased from Currys and delivered 1 August 2023.
Opened laptop screen at the weekend and turned on to be greeted with a hairline crack all the way from beside the camera downwards (not a straight line). The laptop has not been damaged or dropped.
Discussed with Currys who have pushed me to Samsung and Samsung are pushing ‘product damage’ which is not covered under warranty. I find it absurd that this is happening quite a lot from a quick Google search of ‘galaxy book screen crack’ and product damaged is pushed onto the consumer.
Has anyone had this happen and successfully got the laptop screen repaired by Samsung at no cost to the consumer?

Thank you for that report. I live in Brazil as well and almost purchased this unit. Now I will buy another brand. Samsung is killing its own laptop brand with this mess. Unbelievable.

Just bought a Book 5. 2 weeks in, first crack, 2 weeks later, second crack. No drops, no bumps, no nothing. Spent $2500 because the screen is so nice, now I have two fine hairline cracks staring back at me. This is unacceptable. I was a HUGE Samsung fan but this just destroyed that relationship. I've purchased multiple appliances, TV's, S24 Ultra, S tablet ect. Never buying another Samsung product after this.

So sorry to hear that! I've been speaking with Sean. My case was ongoing for over 10 months and they didn't want to hear it. Only when rip off britain contacted them did they bother! I've now received a refund although it's not to be classed as that it's a "goodwill gesture" (even though this email says refund 🤣) Currys whom I purchased from do not want to know. Not that I'll be ever purchasing a Samsung again but fair play to Samsung for the "goodwill gesture". However they've brushed the whole issue under the carpet as you can see from this email..no matter what they find, their findings won't be public! I say everyone should email Sean with their screen issues. Maybe even we could all CC in an email together. Then they'll have to do something surely!

Thank you for the additional information Bees! I'm really heartbroken and more than anything, angry. I did reach out to the US equivalent as you suggested. I'll update this thread when I hear back.
