G9 OLED Flickering now and then

Morning

I got my G9 OLED last week and noticed quite often when i switch on my PC and get to the desktop I get flickering as shown in the video below

I have tried a different Display port cable and the one that came with it, also updated the firmware on monitor and running latest Nvidia drivers, I thought it might be something to do with running a 2nd monitor so unplugged that but still get the issue.

I had the first G9 before this and worked 100% fine nothing else was changed. Running an RTX 3090.

Should I be returning the monitor?

Yes that's display port using cable that came with the monitor. 240hz 5120x1440p. Never had an issue with display port on my original G9

OK I'm just wondering if it maybe your graphics card artifacting. Can you connect your computer to your TV and try it on that? If you get the same type of graphical glitches then I reckon it could be your graphics card unfortunately.

My 3090 was 100% fine with no issues until I got thr g9 oled. Never had this issue before. The only thing that changed was the monitor.

Just to rule it out I would try it on your TV with the hmdi lead. Other than that connect it to your monitor with the hdmi lead.

I've now connected it to the monitor with hdmi 2.1 so will see how this goes.

OK but if it does it with the hdmi lead I would connect it to your TV just to rule out its not your graphics card. Let me know how it goes.

I was running it on my Samsung 24inch G3 for the past week no issues and also the G9 original for 3 years with no issues.

Haven't used it today as been at work and then playing alan wake 2 on the xbox. Will try it later
