Daily Step data is being erased on the S Health App

Hi, I have been using S Health app for some years and have just had the problem of my daily step count being automatically erased - I do the steps , then when I check the following day the app says no steps recorded but they still come up in the Achievement category? This started happening from 4/10/2020 - to the best of my knowledge I have not adjusted anything. I have tried syncing/restoring to no avail. Historical data from 4/10/2020 back is still intact

My daughter and I both have the same problem.  The steps for past days are not recorded since the 5th of October 2020.  The steps for the current day are displayed but nothing for past days.

I have the same issue. Stared 26 Oct. During the day the app records steps as you would expect then when I check the following day it says no data recorded.

I'm doing a stepathon and need proof of steps so I've started taking a screen shot before bed .....if I remember.....not ideal. Any fix for this?
