Samsung 870 EVO 500GB

Hi, 

I purchased a new Samsung 870 EVO 500GB SSD on the 29th of September 2024, 2 days later the drive is showing its health at 99%. Is this to be expected? My 860 EVO never did this, nor has my 850 Pro

Have you downloaded the app from the support section of the samsung website. Normally points out any glaring issues

Which App, Samsung Magician? It shows no glaring issues, but Crystal Disk Info shows the drive at 99% after 2 days

Yer samsung magician. Ive always found any major problems have been pretty obvious on there. The hard drive does still contain its own software which may account for the 1%

How can existing software account for thew hard drive showing 1% wear after 2 days? I am not talking about remaining capacity
