I tried to register my M.2 NVMe SSD Model MZ-V8V500 but it says it can't validate it. The chips beneath the sticker looks OK for a legitimate SSD.

Hi, probably this is not the kind of answer that sounds professional, but i am not a computer pioneer, however, I just did a search on Google about your issue and I found some help, I don't want to copy and paste, but if you search yourself you might find something that helps.

Hi, @hcccs. I edited your post slightly to remove the serial number, as this is personal to you and is best not disclosed on this public platform.

The warranty is effective from your purchase date and only an extended warranty (where available) would need to be registered separately.

Please can you advise where you're trying to register your SSD?

Cheers @hcccs ! That's the Samsung US site. If you're not based in the US, and it's not a US product, that might be why it's not working for you. 🤔 Are you able to let us know if you're trying to register it through your own country's Samsung website and if you get any joy with that?

(Same for you @Ric76 .)
