So, i'm looking at getting the new Flex 2 5G on pre order, and noticed it has a thunderbolt 4 port.
Now i've not used a computer properly for a few years, and the last thing used was a mac mini with a thunderbolt display, the 27" one.
The Mac is dead, but the monitor is here and fully working, so would be ace if i could make use of that on the new flex 2.
I know apple make an adapter for thunderbolt 3 to 2, but not sure if it will work with that laptop.
So i'm hoping some one can help me, The Monitor is the Thunderbolt Version with just that and the Magsafe connector, not the Display Port Version with more cables.
So if i could some how make the laptop portable and then almost dock it when i come home, with that as the external or even main display, that would be awesome. Saves buying a new monitor when I've already got this door stop here
Thanks in advace, and hope what i'm asking for makes sense.

lovely...
Thunderbolt ought to be backward compatible.
Here's the link of the manual for your reference.
