I purchased a cj791 curved monitor. Love it.
Works beautifully. I'm using the DP cable from monitor to GPU. this monitor has no Thunderbolt plugs, it has hdmi, dp, USB, and then a cable outlet and a cable in box,, that i compare to a printer cable.
It says that if I hook that cable up, it powers the ss- USB ports, which it does, but I can't see to figure out how to view it on my screen.
Manual says with this cable connected my monitor is a USB hub.
But all I seem to get is power.
Example would be connecting my USB-c Into my phone, then back of monitor, hoping to be able to split screen my computer and phone, or tablet if I choose.
Am I supposed to plug in that printer looking cord only to the rear of monitor?
Or is it used in conjunction with my DP cable?
