I have recently replaced my Samsung HW-Q90R with a Samsung HW-Q990C. One of the main reasons for replacing the older item were the problems with WiFi which continually disconnected, unfortunately I have the same problem having spent over £1000 on the new system. I have not contacted Samsung as there is little point, they either do not answer or suggest there is a problem with my Wifi signal at home. There is nothing wrong with my WiFi I have many devices connected to WiF and they do not drop out at all. There is no doubt in my mind that this is a Samsung problem, not only have I had two Samsung systems with the same problem but reading on here, there are many others suffering the same problem. I do hope some one from Samsung reads this and comes up with some way of solving the issue.

What is the solution? I'm using a Comcast WiFi router+modem unit. The soundbar constantly drops SmartThings connection (WiFi), while my other Samsung devices on the SmartThings app do not have this issue. I cannot choose my WiFi channels

The only solution I found is to use lower channels on your WiFi. I could only do this by using another WiFi unit that I could change channels on which is networked to everything else. A cumbersome solution but the only one I could get to work.

Thanks for your comment. That was the issue with Q700C (2023) !!!
By setting channel to 140 for 5Ghz it instantly disconnected the soundbar. Then I set it to 116 and it reconnected automatically.
It seems that by having channel to auto was the source of having soundbar to get disconnected and never reconnecting back without going to the app and doing the set-up wizard again.

Have you tried using a lower channel on your WiFi?

I have 2.4G WPA2. WiFi Settings. And Channel is 1.

People seem to have had more success on a low channel on 5GHZ vWiFi

Same problem. And in South Africa, going into a physical store for help is useless too.

Ive the same problem on my Q990C. The problem are the so-called DFS wifi channels, which are those from channel 52 and onwards. These channels are less reliable per default as they are also used for airports, weather stations etc, however, blocking them is too rigid in my opinion.
