Recently I purchased a Q800C-XL Soundbar. I have connected the soundbar with WIFI and synced it with Smartthings. After enjoying the Soundbar I powered off the soundbar from my power outlet. and when I have started soundbar again. it was disconnected from WIFI and out of sync with the smartthings as well. So then I have reset everything and connected with wifi and after some time I had power off. and next time same wifi disconnected. and out of sync from smartthings.
So now I need help to resolve this issue.
1. why wifi get disconnected?
2. DO I have to reconnect every time I Power On?
3. Is this issue in all the soundbars or in Q800C-XL only?

I'm facing a similar problem with a Q930C model. I also noticed that the soundband is unable to reconnected to the wifi network after Internet connection went unavailable by problems in my home network ou internet provider.
Once the device is shown as offline in the Smarthing app, the only solution is to remove the soundbar from the app and add it again.

I am using the same model and I have the same issue. I noticed that within 24hrs of the purchase and Samsung service engineer couldn't fix it by hard reset and manual software update, he concluded it as the board issue and he replaced my unit with a new one and the new one is working fine. So all units are not having this issue. Try a hard reset and if it's not fixed, consider replacement.
