Souncbar firmware issues

Cant seem to update the firmware on my HW Q950T soundbar. Tried smart things and USB but still no update. please can someone give me advice, as l bought the item to have full unsurpressed audio. Yes TV is HDMI 2.1 aswell, so the fault not that they are not compatible. Many thanks

Hello, try this method.
Update a soundbar through SmartThings
Connecting your soundbar to SmartThings allows you to control it from your mobile device. You can change the volume and connect your speakers to a synchronized surround sound system. You can even play your favorite song every time you open the front door.

Step 1. Make sure your soundbar is connected to the Wi-Fi network using SmartThings.
Step 2. Open the SmartThings application on your mobile device and select the soundbar to access its control menu.

Step 3. Tap the More Options icon (three dots) in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 4. Select Information, and then tap Firmware Update.

Step 5. Tap Update Now. Keep the Automatic update switch on if you want to use the automatic update feature.

Step 6. Follow the instructions on the screen until it indicates that the update is complete.

Thank you Ventor, l have tried that but no luck, it does say there is an up 1019.5 but according to samsung that is now 1021.
