Hi,
I do have a Samsung HW-F551 soundbar which previously connected with my older Samsung TV (F7000 model) via SoundShare. It seams this isn't possible with the QLED 65Q7FN 2018 model.
1) Can you acknowledge the TV doesn't have this feature or advise the instructions to connect via SoundShare?
The other conflict, when I set the soundbar to Bluetooth connection mode the TV can't find the soundbar when searching for BT devices. Pairing my phone with the soundbar is working, but the TV doesn't seams to find any of the BT devices.
2) Can you advise how to troubleshoot the BT pairing on the TV, It doesn't find a BT device even when they are in paring mode.
Kind regards,
Michel

Hi @michellamie, Michel,
TV SoundConnect or SoundShare is supported on this TV.
See link below on page 17 how to connect:
For bluetooth see page 22. At least i think the TV is also a bluetooth device.
The explanation is a little bit confusing on that page.
You can also try to connect here (see picture). It's in Dutch, sorry.
But why using BT? This is an unstable connection and it can cause latency (a delay between sound and picture).
The best way to connect your Soundbar with your TV is an Optical connection.
Both devices have such a port to connect an Optical (Toslink) cable and are not expensive.
You can order them here online at: https://www.allekabels.nl/searchresult.php?keyword=toslink
You better can take a double shielded one, because of the vulnerability of the cable.
With this setup you can't control the volume of the TV with your remote.
The digital signal is a 'pure digital' so this is unamplified. This must be done on the Soundbar.
Don't forget to put the sound output from the TV on Audio-out/optical.
Please keep in touch..
