Problem using TV+Soundbar setting (QLED 50QN92A and HW-S60A/XN)

Hi all,

I recently purchased the QN92 and soundbar S60A.

I cannot get the audio to use both TV speakers and soundbar at the same time. The soundbar is connected via HDMI eARC and the sound settings on the TV do state that it is set to 'TV + [AV] Soundbar S60A (HDMI)'. However, it seems only the soundbar is producing sound when watching TV.

When I watch youtube I sometimes get the impression that the TV speakers are switched ON but it is hardly noticable (very low level) and at the same time, it looks like the signal is constantly interrupted, as if a microphone is taking background noise to cancel it (sorry for the weird explation).

I have reset the TV and set it up from scratch which doesn't solve the issue unfortunately.

Is there anything I could try?

After contacting Samsung support I found out that the S60A does not support tv+soundbar (Q-Symfony). It was an incorrect advise from the shop when I bought them. I replaced the S60A by the Q60T which works great!
