PC - Dolby Atmos Sound Ausgabe bei nicht Dolby Atmos Content spielt keinen Center Channel

Hi, das Problem ist wohl schon mehrmals genannt worden, aber noch immer keine Lösung von Samsung gepatcht worden. Wenn man Dolby Access auf dem PC nutzt, wird der Sound für Dolby Atmos Inhalte und auch für normale stereo, 5.1, 7.1 etc Inhalte automatisch als Dolby Atmos per hdmi weitergegeben. Bei Samsung Soundbars (bei mir die samsung hw q995b) wird aber bei nicht Dolby Atmos Inhalten manche Channels nicht abgespielt.

Zum Setup:
PC HDMI 2.1 Out -> LG C2 TV HDMI 2.1 In -> LG C2 TV HDMI 2.1 eArc Out -> HW Q995b HDMI eArc

Getestet:
Dolby Atmos Inhalte spielen ohne Probleme alle Channels.
Nicht Dolby Atmos Inhalte spielen keinen Center Channel und auch keine Rears. Sprache ist also Stumm.

LG Soundbar mit gleichem Setup spielt alle Inhalte ohne dieses Problem.
TV Soundweitergabe von Durchschlaufen auf Auto fixt das Problem, aber führt dann zu Dropouts beim Sound und lässt dann auch nurnoch Stereo oder Dolby Atmos als Wiedergabe zu, kein natives 7.1 etc.

Da es bei der LG Soundbar funktioniert hatte, muss das Problem bei der Soundbar liegen.

Das Problem betrifft wohl auch Xbox.

Hast du schon mal versucht die Soundausgabe / Soundcodierung umzuschalten? Du hast hier nicht angegeben ob du "Bitstream" oder "PCM" als Ausgangssignal eingeschaltet hast.

Hi, bitstream und durchlaufen ist aktiv und muss auch so sein um überhaupt dolby atmos nutzen zu können. Alles andere unterstützt das Format bzw channel erst garnicht. Ich nutze derzeit den Workaround Dolby Amtos aktiv für atmos inhalte und manuelles wechseln in windows auf 7.1 für alle anderen inhalte. Es funktioniert so, aber verstehe halt nicht warum das signal der dolby access app nicht wie bei anderen soundbars automatisch umgewandelt wird.

i found out a bit more about the strange behaviar in dolby atmos mode. When changing the Audiomode to Standard, almost everything works fine now in terms of positional audio. the only thing a bit messed up is the subwoofer response, most of the time, it does not kick in at all, but when it plays some sound its over the top and not smooth at all. For example i play god of war, and i only see the sub turning on when using a finisher skill. so all the sounds are thin, but positional correct, and then when using a finisher the sub kicks in for 2 secs and is gone againe.

When using adapet mode, i lose center channel, when using sourround i lose center and rear channels. So i think it has something to do with the virtualisation of the missing channels.

Iam still using my pc with dolby access app and have turned off any enhancements except for the upchannel function of the dolby access app, that suppose to fix problems like that with not dolby atmos content.

Das Problem besteht wohl schon seit Monaten und es gibt keinerlei Reaktion von Samsung....klasse für ein Highend Produkt: (2) No center channel when playing atmos on Series X ( Samsung Q990B) : Soundbars (reddit.com)
