No dolby atmos

Hi does anybody know how to setup tv with soundabr to get the dolby atmos . I have a LG c1 TV with samsung hw-q930b soundbar and can't get the dolby atmos from it . All I do the sound I'm getting is dolby digital plus but no atmos 

The soundabr is connected to the TV by hdmi earc port and af far ad my knowledge goes i have the right setting on the TV as well but no atmos 

The tv sound is to pass through

Are there any settings on the soundbar?

Just the basic setting on the soundbar (set for adaptive sound) 100% sure it is earc port i have even tried 3 different hdmi 2.1 cables and still no atmos

What is full model of the LG? Have you tried LG themselves for info? Is there anyone you know that can help test using an atmos avr?

No m8 no avr I can check and yes I have spoke to both lg and samsung, but they back and forth

Hi I've got a LG cx and same sound bar and I can only get Dolby true hd. Did you sort it?

No i did not and i stopped trying as both lg and samsung blame each other . So unfortunately if you do not match your products from the same brand you get no help

It's strange I play a 4k disc that I know has atmos and when I press information it only says Dolby true hd

I have the same problem, netflix, disney content any stuff that says dolby atmos . But all I get is dolby true HD

It's now displaying Dolby Atmos when I watch a 4k dvd. I reset the sound bar and reconnected the speakers 

Did you try playing 4k discs

Same problem here. Juist bought Q990B icw LG C2… I have noticed when you switch output on tv to pass through it will show Atmos in Netflix when you select a movie, but it is nog popping up when it starts playing. If you select pcm or auto it will only show Spatial audio…so maybe it works but not showing while playing???
