Hi

I have a Q80B tv and a Q600A soundbar.

My problems are I can set the TV to Q symphony using TV speakers plus soundbar but frequently it resets itself to just soundbar. The other problem I am having is the fact one day Dolby Atmos is fine the next day the soundbar doesnt pick it up.

Both the TV and soundbar have up to date Firmware.

Does anybody have any ideas?

@Peter77777: What connection method are you using to connect your soundbar to your TV? For Q-Symphony and Dolby Atmos, this would require you to connect to the HDMI ARC port on both devices. Does Q-Symphony disconnect following a particular action, such as powering off the TV or soundbar, or switching to Multi-view, or is it random?

Hi Andrew I can confirm its HDMI connection from soundbar direct to TV.

The dropping of the Q symphony appears to be random. Turning the TV off overnight and turning it on the next day sometimes loses the Q symphony. Changing from my virgin media to netflix  or firestick can also cause it to disconnect. When I go into TV sound settings the TV plus soundbar option is not there sometimes. To counter that and bring it back up I have to enter each function in the sound output menu then exit settings altogether and re enter the sound output where it miraculously gives me the previously hidden TV plus soundbar option!

I hope this helps.
