Hello fellow Samsung users.

A few months ago I have bought a Samsung TV Set OLED TQ65S92 + a Soundbar HW-Q930C. They used to worh perfectly with the Q-Symphony technology.

Recently I am having Intermittent sound drops when connected via HDMI-ARC or Optical. The sound drops for less then a seconds every now and then. It does not happen when I am wathcing cable TV, but with all major streaming apps: Netflx, Dysney+, Amazon Prime.

For initial troubleshooting I have already swap the cables, but the problem persists.

I can not confirm if the problem is on the TV side or on the soundbar side, but according to some research, it seams this are quite common with samsung soundbars.

Found this issue (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01212326/) but it not aplies to my soundbar.

Any sugetions will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Same problem with my (new) setup. OLED S95D and Q950a Soundbar. It began after i have connected my soundbar with the S95D. Before i have connected the new TV i have used the QN95a TV. Everything was fine with the old setup.

I also have a Samsung Q930C SoundBar to use with my Samsung Q80 TV, I have the same issue as you.  I had figured out that the audio drops out every 16 minutes, I have no idea what that means but I hope someone knows why this is and how it can be fixed.

In my case the issue was solved after the last update from Samsung on the TV.

Now, when connected with the sound bar, it shows only Q-Syphony and not TV+Q-Syphony as before.

Yes, @thecorvus  it only happened with streaming services.

Clearly a problem with the TV firmware which Samsung manage to solve. No problem with the soundbar.

My TV downloads the updates automatically so I think it is using the latest update, do you know how I can check?  Did you perform the update manually yourself, meaning downloading the update to a thumb-drive to update the TV, or did you select Update in its settings menu?

Mine is also updating automatically. My current version is 1420. I didn't use a thumb-drive.

Check in Settings (all settings) / Support / Software update.

You can also get the latest updates from samsung support website.
