I have a Q60A 43" TV and a Bush soundbar with no HDMI connector. I use the optical connector to connect to the TV. I was wondering if there was a way to change the volume directly from the TV's remote (Smart or Normal). At the moment I can only do it via the soundbar's own remote. When I press the volume buttons on the smart remote the word "Optical" appears on the left of the screen but nothing else. I have already altered the TV settings so that "Optical" is selected. I am beginning to think that this will only be possible with a HDMI conenctor (which my soundbar does not have!)
