I recently got an S60a soundbar. My issue is with alexa. I already have an alexa set up so I don't want to use the alexa on the soundbar. If I'm watching TV with my Bluetooth headphones and say alexa the soundbar will wake and start playing audio from the TV. Is there anyway to disable alexa on the soundbar? Thanks.

Hi,
You could try below

If you have the Alexa app installed on a mobile

On the same wireless network open it
and go to Skills > Samsung Wireless Audio Skill and disable this option.

It doesn’t work. My q990c has Alexa built in already and everytime I say “Alexa!” Both my Amazon Fire Cube and my Soundbar go alert and the bar messes up everything. I want to deactivate alexa from the soundbar but don’t know how. The bar is not in my Samsung enabled alexa devices to disable HELP!

disables alexa listening.

I just figured it out.  Use the Samsung SmartThings app.  Go to the top right three dots and select Alexa settings.  Then sign out (of Alexa).  Done!

In the SmartThings app, select your soundbar to open its configuration options.  At the bottom of the SmartThings soundbar configuration screen are two options: (1) Control (2) Services.  Control is the default screen.  Select Services

In the Services options, locate and select Voice Assistant Settings

Set the Voice Assistant to Bixby

Your soundbar will no longer respond to the word “Alexa.”

Tested this with a Samsung Q990C soundbar and the SmartThings skill enabled in the Alexa app.  TV still responds to Alexa commands such as “Alexa, Samsung TV off,” but soundbar no longer wakes with any of the Echo device wake-words.

Turn the mic off on the soundbar. There should be a button on the far right. This disables the mic and she won't hear you.

I wouldn't do this as this would disable spacefit sound and active voice amplifier I think. Just go to smart things app, services then Alexa settings and just sign out of Alexa to disable

Turn off the mic on the soundbar. Far right button and you will hear " mic off".

Doing this also turns off Spacefit sound mode. The best way is to go to services in the SmartThings app and sign out of your account. The soundbar will then no longer activate when you say the Alexa command.
