Hi there,

I have a Q60T 65” with freesat allegedly built in. I also have an external human 1Tb  freesat box which I used for my previous Samsung tv.

2 questions.

How do I receive the freesat programs on my new Samsung. Do I just plug in the old terrestrial tv aerial. Obviously I am confused, as my external box needed the dish, with the cable that is split into 2, going into the box, and an HDMI to the tv.
The tv has only one input socket, so is there some sort of decoder or  adapter needed.

2nd question, my old box had programs which I wanted to archive and watch at a latter date. Is there any way I can transfer these programs to the new Samsung tv?

Any help in this matter would be much appreciated

Thanks

I think that you will still need the dish . The cable coming from the dish , would connect to the threaded connector in the back of your TV.
