1012.6 Firmware Update for hw-Q90R Soundbar

Hi Guys,

I've performed the firmware update 1012.6 for my HW-Q90R soundbar via USB drive. (currently doesn't work with smarthings app)

Given that there is no official statement from Samsung with the details of the update I would like to check with the community what new features have been included.

Also how should be the list bellow if the firmware 1012.6 is correctly applied to all components  ?

Any has a LG cx 2020 with the Q90R and able to adjust volume with magic remote on soundbar via earc? i had it working but somehow it doesnt work anymore i can only use soundbar remote now for volume

I have the Q90r and the LG C8 and never had an issue with the Magic remote and the soundbar volume. Have you updated the latest FW on the Q90?

Try to go back into settings on your LG TV, general, then make sure Simplink is ON.

Yess have updated both and simplink is on. did the magic remote device setup but halas not working. tried both samsung and karman as brandname of the soundbar.

i fixed it. i had to disconnect the tvbox + remove universal settings from devices and shut down (pul the plug) tv+soundbar+connected to it for 30 sec. Then it mircalously works again. Maybe my tvbox is acting up with the soundbar and makes it go fubar

I also have the code S-0000.

This means my subwoofer will not connect to the soundbar. How can I fix this anyone?

When plugging it in the blue light just starts blinking fast, but a connection between the subwoofer and soundbar just don't arise. 

Would be great if someone could get me back in with the subwoofer.

Hmmm... I still have subwoofer sound from mine after this update. Perhaps you need to re-sync the speakers?
