I'm rather disappointed that despite relatively solid representation for Asian languages, that there's a glaringly missing omission in the form of Tagalog. I was looking forward to using this for my extended Filipino family and for whenever I get to visit. I appreciate they speak English but the same can be said about other supported countries.

There is actually quite a lot of Filipinos that have very little or no handle on English. This is especially true out in the provinces and for the older generations. My wife's father and grandparent can't speak English and it is reason like that that we need to have Tagalog as part of the language packs available.

The Tagalog language pack for Samsung Live Translate is expected to be available for download in late April as part of an update to Galaxy AI. Language packs for newly supported Galaxy AI languages and dialects will be available for download from the Settings app.

I was also disappointed when I used my new Samsung S25 Ultra phone and found out that it doesn't have Filipino/Tagalog live translations and keyboard translations. I hope you prioritize adding the Tagalog/Filipino language as soon as possible. My old Samsung S21 Ultra phone had a Tagalog/Filipino option.
