Samsung evo plus memory card 256 fake?

Hi. I have got this card from Ebay. Seller sold it as new and really cheap compare to other market places. I have checked some online videos showing this particular one is fake. When I asked the seller he said it's genuine. Could anyone please help me to identify as I don't want my memory card to crash. Thank you

I don't buy memory cards from ebay anymore, back in the day where I wasn't as savy... I thought oh wow... well cheaper... After several months of usage the memory card would crash... data got corrupted and when I went to format the memory card on a laptop... it came up as 32gb rather than the higher memory I bought.

All memory cards I have purchased from Amazon direct have been perfect in my experience.

Sometimes you can tell by the printing design on the memory card if it is a bit shabby... if seller has returns active on the account... then I would arrange a return.

Also, after doing a Google image search, it seems the tone of the memory card adaptor looks a bit darker than it should be compared to ab official Samsung one. Could be the lighting... but seems deeper on your one.

Thanks for all your suggestions. As soon as I told the seller that I have asked samsung to verify his card is fake or not, without any questions he returned my money. I think he definitely knew what he was selling. Anyway you are right ebay can not check authenticity at all on their site. Thank again.

It's fake! I bought 128gb one off ebay to bur u can tell the genuine ones the red on the sd card is darker and the numbers are bigger. I had the 128gb one and it totally crashed my phone lost photos and everything, u should just pay that big extra and get it from a knowing supplier I got my 128gb one from very and I got it for 17.99 or 18.99.
