Hi I have a series 5 smart tv and I am looking for a hard drive that works with my tv any suggestions please?

my system is networked.... so 3 network drives can be accessed by my pc and TV
tp-link has outside network in then everything else goes out .. so I can play films from pc to TV and also access TV to network drives.

Try buying a PC cable and plugging your TV 5 series directly into you laptop. Then switch on the TV 5 series to the PC screen in the AV input on the screen and use you TV 5 series as a VDU and your laptop as a hardrive

You can also use your phone if there is a Bluetooth function on your TV 5 series.
