When I plug in my charger, using the provided plug and cable, the 2 LED lights flash green, amber and then red.  The lights continue to flash red and nothing will charge when placed on the unit.

I have tried numerous sockets and different combinations of plug and cable without any change.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

I'm unable to get an EP-TA300, would an EP-TA800 work please?

Thanks,

  • Mine is doing the same thing. So I get that the charger may be incorrect, so why not put the correct charger in the box. All I got was the pad, and a cable. I paid enough for it, should have everything you need to charge. Apple is now doing the same thing and just giving a cable without the charger on their new phones. Like said with the amount of money we spend on the equipment we would get everything. I am definitely taking this junk back and get my money back.

I've been through all the 5v and 5v - 9v chargers, and yes, none of those work.  It must be an output 12v charger to work. The original model was an EP-TA300. I have an EP-TA800 for the poster who asked,: no, it doesn't work- wrong voltage. On the back of the EP-TA300 it states:

INPUT: 100-240v  50-60Hz  OUTPUT: 12.0v  - 2.0A  or  9.0V  - 1.67A  or  5.0V - 2.1A  I think it means that it is a switching charger, switching v ranges of V DC output as it senses the draw.

I couldn't find one at Samsung, so bought generic at jsaux.com . It works. I either accessed it through Amazon or EbaySamsung-tablet-charger-EP-TA300-2-954368105.jpg26-2275950878.jpgsamsung-galaxy-s10-series-fast-charger-amp-wireless-charger-leaked-877_large-345454247.jpgsamsung-ep-ta300-fast-hizli-sarj-cihazi__0286082703861644.jpg, I cannot remember. But any charger that (with correct polarization if you get those monster multi-tip chargers) that is 12v dc output and 2.0A should? work. I have another generic 11.8v output charger that also works.

I will also add that the USB wires are tiny and thin within the jacket and easily burn out or separate within the cable. These cables are made for a few cents, each.  You should buy a (substantial, well made) one before finding a new charger? For all those posters who said to try a new cable, I agree.

"gb" might mean Great Britain for the different prong endings there.  No,  it just needs to say EP-TA300 as the core of the model if you are specifically looking for the charger to the EP-N6100N. Before you buy, I'd check to see what prongs the TA300 has that you might find.  😃  Samsung outsourced the EP-T300 to different manufacturers giving them the specifications Samsung required, and can add descriptors to differentiate between the electrical endings, worldwide.  I've posted pictures of some I found on the Internet.

You may need to get a generic 12V adapter. I found mine on jsaux.com via Ebay or Amazon. It works (but I don't know for how long...).

I am having the same issue. ***** Samsung, why don't they just up the price and include the correct charger? I buy everything Samsung and have been happy until now. They are following Apples lead by making everyone pay separately for different components. Capitalistic BS.
